I am a registered nurse and I am also a diabetic. As a diabetic, I need to eat more low carb foods than high carb foods. Below are some of the foods that are lowest in carbohydrates. I am not a doctor nor am I a dietician, and I do recommend that you consult your primary care physician prior to changing your diet; I am simply listing some foods that are low in carbs for your information.
